Day 80 of 90: Love in Its Purest Form

Day 80 felt warm and full of heart.

Today was about celebration but not in the usual way. I received a Valentine’s gift, a sweet reminder of love and thoughtfulness. Yet instead of celebrating it in a traditional romantic way, the day unfolded differently.

It became a family celebration.

Redefining Celebration

Sometimes we expect certain days to look a particular way.

Romantic dinners.

Grand gestures.

Quiet moments for two.

But today, love expanded beyond that.

It was shared in laughter around the house.

In small conversations.

In togetherness.

And somehow, that felt even more meaningful.

Love Beyond Labels

The Valentine’s gift was beautiful not just because of what it was, but because of what it represented.

Care.

Appreciation.

Presence.

But as I looked around at my family, I realised something deeper.

Love is not limited to one relationship.

Love lives in every shared moment.

In every smile.

In every act of support.

Choosing Presence Again

Instead of rushing the day or dividing it into “special” and “ordinary,” I chose to stay present.

We spent time together.

We celebrated in our own simple way.

No pressure.

No expectations.

Just gratitude for being together.

What Day 80 Taught Me

• Love is bigger than one occasion

• Celebration doesn’t have to be dramatic to be meaningful

• Family time is a blessing

• Presence makes every day special

Closing Reflection

It reminded me that love multiplies when shared.

A gift may come wrapped in paper.

But real love is wrapped in time, attention, and togetherness.

Today was simple.

Today was heartfelt.

Today was full of love in its purest form. 🤍

Hi, I'm Anu! Originally from the beautiful hills of Uttarakhand (India), I now call Australia home. Moving countries wasn’t an easy journey – it came with its own set of challenges, goodbyes, and growing pains. But it also opened doors to new opportunities, friendships, and personal transformation. This blog is my little space to reflect, express, and share stories from everyday life — whether it's about adjusting to a new culture, lessons from motherhood, reflections on family back home, or just navigating this ever-changing world as a migrant woman. I believe growth happens when we step out of our comfort zones. And even though I miss my roots deeply, I’ve found joy in creating a new version of "home" here in Australia. When I’m not writing, I love relaxing with a coffee, diving into a good book, or enjoying moments with family and friends. ! Thanks for stopping by – I hope you find something here that resonates with you. Feel free to say hello or share your own story — I'd love to connect! 💛
