Day 70 of 90: Going With the Flow

Today didn’t ask me to plan.

It didn’t ask me to push.

It simply asked me to be.

Day 70 was about going with the flow

not out of laziness,

but out of trust.

When Control Softens

After days of effort, reflection, exhaustion, and stillness, today felt different.

There was no inner pressure to optimise the moment.

No urgency to fix or improve anything.

I noticed how often I try to control outcomes—

my mood,

my productivity,

my pace.

Today, I loosened that grip.

And with that, something softened inside me.

Letting the Day Unfold

I moved through the day without resistance.

• doing what needed to be done

• resting when the body asked

• responding instead of rushing

• allowing emotions to pass without analysis

There was ease in not labelling the day as good or bad.

It was simply what it was.

Trusting the Inner Rhythm

Going with the flow doesn’t mean drifting aimlessly.

It means trusting the inner rhythm you’ve been cultivating.

After 70 days of mindfulness, I realised:

The body knows when to slow down.

The mind knows when to pause.

The heart knows when to move.

Today, I listened.

Presence Without Expectations

I didn’t expect clarity.

I didn’t expect breakthroughs.

I allowed small moments to be enough:

• quiet conversations

• simple meals

• shared smiles

• gentle silences

There was freedom in not asking the day to give me more than it could.

What Day 70 Taught Me

• Flow comes after effort

• Trust grows with practice

• Not every day needs direction

• Ease can be productive

• Being present is sometimes the only task

A Soft Reminder to Myself

I don’t need to hold everything together.

I don’t need to be in control all the time.

Sometimes, the most mindful choice is to relax into the moment and let life carry you.

Treminds me:

✨ Flow is not losing direction—it’s trusting it.

✨ Ease is earned through awareness.

✨ I am allowed to simply be.

Today, I went with the flow.

And that was exactly enough. 🤍🌊

Hi, I'm Anu! Originally from the beautiful hills of Uttarakhand (India), I now call Australia home. Moving countries wasn’t an easy journey – it came with its own set of challenges, goodbyes, and growing pains. But it also opened doors to new opportunities, friendships, and personal transformation. This blog is my little space to reflect, express, and share stories from everyday life — whether it's about adjusting to a new culture, lessons from motherhood, reflections on family back home, or just navigating this ever-changing world as a migrant woman. I believe growth happens when we step out of our comfort zones. And even though I miss my roots deeply, I’ve found joy in creating a new version of "home" here in Australia. When I’m not writing, I love relaxing with a coffee, diving into a good book, or enjoying moments with family and friends. ! Thanks for stopping by – I hope you find something here that resonates with you. Feel free to say hello or share your own story — I'd love to connect! 💛
